Workshops
Context and Objective
The Brazilian Conference on Software: Practice and Theory (CBSoft) is an event annually promoted by the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC) aimed at fostering the exchange of experience among researchers and practitioners from industry and academia regarding recent research, tendencies, and innovations in software. Held since 2010 as an aggregating event of Brazilian symposia promoted by SBC on software, CBSoft has become one of the main conferences in the Brazilian Computing community.
In 2026, the sixteenth edition of CBSoft will be held in person, from September 8th to 12th, in São Paulo, integrating four traditional annual events:
- XXXX Brazilian Symposium on Software Engineering
- XXX Brazilian Symposium on Programming Languages
- XX Brazilian Symposium on Components, Architectures, and Reuse
- XI Brazilian Symposium on Systematic and Automated Software Testing
In addition, CBSoft includes workshops related to the themes of these events. The aim is to create a space for members of academia and industry to exchange and discuss experiences and ideas. Workshops traditionally held at CBSoft may be promoted to pre-approved workshops (see details below).
