INTRODUCTION

CBSoft (Brazilian Conference on Software: Theory and Practice) is an event sponsored by the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC) that aggregates, yearly, the main national events of the area, becoming thus a major national conference for software. The main goal is to become a world-class forum to integrate communities from academia, industry and government in order to meet and discuss the latest developments, trends and innovations concerning theory and practice of software.

The Industry Track aims at providing an opportunity to expose company’s perspectives and to stimulate the dialog between academy and industry. The main theme of the Industry Track this year is Agile Methodologies. However, the organizing committee will accept proposals of presentations related to the main topics of the conference. Contributions should be based on real case studies, and should preferably highlight benefits, drawbacks, insights or challenges observed on the use of software technologies. The text of the proposal can be written either in English or Portuguese. Each proposal should be presented in a slot of 30-45 minutes.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMISSION

All the proposals should include the following items:

• Title of the presentation, name, affiliation, e-mail and URL of the authors, indicating who is the main author.
• Language of the presentation (Portuguese or English) and a short summary (max of 400 words) describing the theme of the presentation.
• Brief explanation of the relevance of the presentation to the CBSOft Industry Track
• Resources and equipments needed
• A short bio for each author (max. one paragraph per authors), and URLs for your CV (or website). Brazilian authors should also indicate the URLs for their CVs in the Lattes platform.

Please do not include any extra information in addition to the issues described above.

The proposals should be submitted electronically, in PDF format, through the JEMS on-line system, which will be accessible from the conference website or using this link https://submissoes.sbc.org.br/home.cgi?c=1110.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The proposals will be reviewed and selected by a program committee, formed by well-known researchers and people from industry.
